Our Venue

We’re proud to call South Melbourne home. A truly local pub, nestled on Cecil Street, Lamaro’s Hotel has a long history in the area. Our doors first opened in the 1850s and we’re delighted to still be serving the community today.

Our Food

Executive chef and part owner Geoff Lindsay along with head chef Jay Sinclair have crafted a menu to suit the opulent surrounds of the venue. Our modern Australian cuisine is perfectly executed with a wonderful array of quality steaks, the freshest seafood and some of Geoff’s classic dishes from his days at Pearl and from his training under Stephanie Alexander and Andrew Blake.
The bar menu is also a wonderful option for those who would prefer a more casual experience in the bar.
