At Lamaro’s Hotel, we want you to feel welcome every day of the week. Whether it’s a quick stop at the bar after work, a long lunch with colleagues or a celebratory dinner, we’ll make it an occasion to remember. Choose from our menu of classic pub dishes, settle back with your favourite drop and let our team take care of you.
We’re proud to call South Melbourne home. A truly local pub, nestled on Cecil Street, Lamaro’s Hotel has a long history in the area. Our doors first opened in the 1850s and we’re delighted to still be serving the community today.
Sandy Ingram’s smiling face will welcome you as you walk in the door. A fixture in the South Melbourne dining scene, Sandy last greeted diners at Lamaro’s Hotel in 2012. After a stint just down the road at O’Connell’s, where he notched up awards for their wine list, we’re lucky to have Sandy back on the floor once more.
Our menu is simple, perfectly executed and absolutely delicious. Our kitchen has crafted dishes for lunch, dinner and that little something in-between. Drop in for a bar snack and a glass of wine, then cancel your plans and stay on for dinner – you know you want to.
